PTE Speaking and Writing

As the name implies, this section evaluates the candidate's Speaking and Writing skills in the English language. This section is broken down into seven short question types that evaluate your ability to write quickly on the written test and speak. The total section is approximately 54 to 67 minutes long. This is the longest section of the entire PTE exam.

PTE Reading

The ability to comprehend written instructions in the target language is tested in this part. The section is 29 to 30 minutes long and is divided into five segments.

PTE Listening

The PTE Listening component lasts 30 to 43 minutes. This one is to see if the candidate can understand spoken English. The learner must pay great attention to the audio clip that is being played and remember what they hear. This section is divided into 8 segments.
